Sustainability Project Manager

Hinwil (Hybrid)

In this exciting new position you can actively drive the company's sustainability agenda and performance to the next level. You will support the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy, and lead cross-functional projects to master upcoming sustainability challenges.

Your tasks

  • Define and implement Belimo's sustainability strategy and advancing the roadmap towards net zero (SBTi) in collaboration with the Head of Group Sustainability
  • Participate in the development and steering of the Group sustainability program(s) with roadmap and key initiatives implementation plan, processes, KPI, performance measurement and reporting
  • Develop and lead interdisciplinary programs and projects with internal stakeholders in the related fields to drive company sustainability initiatives and improve performance
  • Support the Group sustainability controlling, data management and reporting (dashboards) and delivering validated data for Belimo's annual sustainability report
  • Support, develop, and implement sustainability instructions, policies, guidelines, and training concepts
  • Coordinate, communicate and align with internal experts (regions, Group Divisions), assist local organisations with implementation
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with internal stakeholders to promote sustainability culture and accelerate the establishment of an internal sustainability community
  • Active support of the marketing and communication department in relation to sustainability

Your profile

  • Degree in environmental sciences, sustainability or similar (BSc or MSc)
  • Experience in a comparable function or proven practical experience in the field of sustainability in an international company
  • Knowledge and experience in greenhouse gas accounting/ reporting (GHG protocol, SBTi, etc.), experience in life cycle assessment is an advantage
  • Proven project leadership, experience working in interdisciplinary and project-oriented global teams
  • Well organized and capable to work in a well-structured way; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-starter and highly motivated. Goal-oriented, independent, and reliable working style
  • Strong communication skills, persuasive and motivating personality with good assertiveness and high decision-making ability
  • Excellent proficiency in English and German both spoken and written
