✨ The Role

As the Product Lead at Treeconomy, your primary objective will be to manage and lead the evolution of our software platform, Sherwood. Acting as a senior product manager, you will work to enhance and extend Sherwood’s functionality across project-level carbon accounting, inventory management, project reporting, and credit sales — ensuring our product delights customers and delivers outstanding value and user experience. You’ll be tasked with obtaining and maintaining feedback from various stakeholders and continuously adjusting the product roadmap.

Day to day, you will face non-trivial tasks and problems that require creativity and critical thinking to solve. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Understand the nature-based carbon removal market, competition, and user requirements in-depth.
  • Supervise all product development processes
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog/roadmap
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, UX, and other team members to drive continuous improvement and product growth.
  • Evaluate end-user needs and product requirements to align them to the product lifecycle
  • Maintain relationships with customers and create an ongoing feedback loop.
  • Identify and drive key measures of product success.
  • Enhance our end-user experience by conducting in-depth customer research, reviewing product accessibility, minimising product usage friction, and gaining actionable insights from similar products in the market.

Salary: £50-80K, subject to qualifications and experience. Share options available.

This is a hybrid position (2 office days per week) with preference given to those based in London. Highly qualified international candidates are still encouraged to apply.

🌳 Your Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related role with prior experience as a Product Manager at a SaaS company
  • 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with web development and/or low code/no code platforms
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS applications
  • Experience in climate, nature, or geospatial product settings
  • A genuine passion and demonstrated interest in combatting climate change and biodiversity loss

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to analyze and understand team structure, identify needed resources, adjust roles/responsibilities, and create a framework for hiring
