You represent Tech at Yuno and you lead the engineering team and provide technical and architectural leadership. By unlocking a Series B investment, we are entering a high-growth phase that makes our current no-code tech stack obsolete. Your first task is to lead the architecture design of the new platform with a greenfield approach, and the following data migration strategy design and execution.
What impact do you have?
- Own, define, prioritize and realize a technology vision, strategy and roadmap
- Own the Technology Stack, to enable our high growth business
- As we are still a small team, be able to gets your hands dirty
- Be part of the cross-functional leadership team, reporting to the CPO, shaping the direction of Yuno with your entrepreneurial mindset
- Lead and grow our in-house engineering team, located in Zurich, by hiring, onboarding and mentoring
- Lead all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, strategic planning, design/architecture, execution, deployment, and maintenance
- Building quality assurance and data protection processes, ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
- Partner with the product team to shape the product roadmap
What do you offer?
- Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college)
- 5+ years of proven professional web development experience
- English (business fluent)
- You have a degree in computer science or a comparable degree
- 5+ years of proven professional web development experience
- You have already been able to demonstrate the ability to bring a big project to an end, technical skills and leadership qualities
- Have a proven understanding of best engineering practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code review, source control, build, test, deploy, and operations
- You are comfortable with software architectures including database design and REST interfaces
- You have comprehensive knowledge of IT architecture and technologies and are familiar with Javascript and React
- You are a reliable person who has both analytical skills and a quality-conscious working style
