The aim of Albatross Care is, to help patients make multi-drug treatments more user-friendly by effectively coordinating the medication effect and the communication with doctors. Careful and holistic coordination of multiple drug treatments will significantly improve therapeutic performance and quality of life for many patients, while also enabling physicians to replace certain drugs with magistral drugs such as medical cannabis. At Albatross Care, you will be joining a team of highly motivated entrepreneurs that maintains a can-do culture marked by passion, honesty, and a love of good coffee & tea.

Start-Up CEO

We are looking to build a team of passioned entrepreneurs who integrate all relevant functions in the start-up, serving internal and external customers. Your mission will be to drive this organization and business from the get-go. You will interact with investors, customers, talents and users from the very beginning. Your first job will be to expand the investor base and our team, to drive our MVP development, to build a customer portfolio and to validate medical and market assumptions. If this proves successful, your next task is to scale the venture. Don’t worry! You are not alone, and we will help you along this journey.

We are looking for someone, who is willing to go into uncharted territory, for whom the experience of the journey matters more than following a pre-planned path. We are looking for someone who can work with the undefined and who thrives in a team of like-minded people, rather than working alone and doing things by the book.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive product & organization development, operations, marketing, sales, and clinical validation.
  • Facilitate collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with implementation partners and service providers if beneficial
  • Engage with regulators both at cantonal and federal level
  • Play an active role in the strategy process and contribute to innovation
  • Support and drive fundraising initiatives
  • Scale up the business.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to work in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry and or with transferable skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge in the field of neuropathic pain or medical cannabis
  • Ideally experience with digital health and medical device regulation
  • Ideally strong sales and marketing capabilities with a desire to sweat the small stuff.
  • Knowledge of clinical affairs.
  • Located in greater Zurich area (Central/Northwest Switzerland)

  • Zurich based workplace in an enthusiastic flatland team
